TCHC Upload service allows TCHC staff to send files that are too large for email via a download link through regular email. It is an alternative to sending large e-mail attachments, using FTP or sending CDs/DVDs/USB keys via courier.
- How can I access TCHC Upload?
You can access the TCHC upload service at
https://tchcupload.torontohousing.ca/
from any browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. You will be prompted for your Network username and password. Only one file can be uploaded at a time and if you need to upload more than one file we suggest you "zip" it into one file.
Once you upload a file you will be given the option to specify who to send the email to notifying them of the file location. The recipient will receive an e-mail with the URL for the file uploaded. The URL will be valid for 30 days. After 30 days the file is automatically deleted from the server and no longer reachable.
- Is it safe typing in my password on the Internet?
-
Yes, the TCHC upload service uses SSL encryption for authentication, similar to banking sites.
- How can I contact the Service Desk about further TCHC upload questions and
problems?
- I&TS Service Desk Phone: (416) 981-5000
The I&TS Service Desk is open from 8:00 am to
5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
